# Resetting the Care Pro 2 to factory settings / Deleting data

If you’re running into issues with your **Kardena CARE Pro 2**, we recommend doing a full reset of the watch.
**How to perform a factory reset:**

1. Open the **Menu** on your CARE Pro 2.
2. Select **Settings ⚙️**.
3. Scroll down and select **‘Reset’ or ‘Delete data’**.
4. Confirm the reset.
5. The watch will then restart and return to its factory settings.

**Important for re-setup:**
First, remove any existing connection to the CARE Pro 2 from your **smartphone’s Bluetooth settings** (‘Ignore device’ or ‘Unpair’).

Then open the **H Band or G Band app** and reconnect the CARE Pro 2 **directly via the app**.

Please do **not** pair the watch manually via your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings first.
